Welcome to the City of Newark, Ohio Department of Human Resources. Our department is staffed by a Human Resources Director and a Human Resources Assistant Director. We are responsible for all aspects of personnel administration including recruitment, employee orientation, benefits administration, contract negotiation, and many other human resources activities. The purpose of our website is to provide easy access to information about job opportunities with the City of Newark. We employ over 360 people in a variety of jobs. We strive to maintain a well-qualified and diverse workforce.
