The Income Tax Office drop box will remain on the corner of 4th and Main. If you are paying with cash please come into the office during regular office hours.

Walk-ins
ONLY Walk-in Service will be available April 1st through April 15th of 2024.
Extended Office Hours:
Thursday, March 21st – By appointment only. Appointments from 5 – 7 pm
Thursday, April 4th – Walk-in Tax Preparation until 7:00 pm (Please sign-in by 6:00 pm)

We accept Cash, Checks or Money Orders in office or by using either one of the Drop Boxes located in the Lobby (between 8am – 4pm weekdays) or the Exterior location on the westside of the building (across from barber and pawn shops, available 24 hrs).
Due to a scheduled power outage for the Newark Trade Tower the Newark City Income Tax Office will be closed October 28th, 2024.
