Program Overview
In an effort to meet the needs of low- to moderate-income homeowners within the City of Newark, the Development Department will administer The Emergency/Minor Home Repair Housing Rehabilitation Program.
The purpose of the program is to provide emergency/minor home repair assistance to eligible low- to moderate-income homeowners who are experiencing housing related maintenance issues that could render it substandard, uninhabitable, or in imminent danger of becoming such.
